Updated: 2026-10-20 - answers the price question first, marks Season 8 as finished, adds a facts table and a price FAQ, and points the coins link at FC 27.
The FC 26 Premium Pass for Season 8 cost 1,000 FC Points or 500,000 coins, paid once. The track ran 30 levels and ended with a Sophia Wilson card plus a 1-of-4 92+ Path to Glory player pick. Season 8 belonged to the Festival of Football campaign and has since been replaced by Seasons 9 and 10, so this page is now a record of what the pass cost and returned. The verdict at the time: worth it if you reached level 30 within two weeks.

How much did the FC 26 Premium Pass cost?
1,000 FC Points or 500,000 coins, one time, before you could claim any Premium-only reward. "Premium pass" and "premium season pass" are the same product, and players on every platform paid the same.
For reference at the FC 27 rate, 100k FC 27 coins costs from $9.89 on PC at FUTCOIN's FC 27 coins page (price checked on 20 October 2026), so 500k coins works out to roughly $49 at that per-100k price. The FC 27 Ultimate Edition includes the Season 1 Premium Pass, as explained in our FC 27 release date and price guide.
Was the FC 26 Season 8 Premium Pass worth buying?
Yes, if you could reach level 30 inside the first two weeks. Skip it if you only expected to finish in the final week.
The 500k price was recoverable through the pack column alone. Levels 22 to 25 hand out three 88+, three 89+, six more 88+ and two further 89+ packs back to back, with a 50-pack 82+ bundle at level 25 for SBC fodder. At conservative averages that sequence returned 300k to 600k coins in tradables, depending on the week's market. The Ultimate TOTS pick at level 27 and the 92+ Path to Glory pick at level 30 carried the rest of the value.
Timing decided the verdict. Sophia Wilson, the level 30 reward, had a fully customisable PlayStyle slate, the same model EA used for the Season 7 final reward. Finishing in week one gave you the card for the whole FUTTIES window; finishing in week five left little time before FC 27 arrived. Our Season 2 SP guide set out the same rule: clear the weeklies on day one and the cap is reachable in seven to ten days.

Standout slots
Four levels carried most of the value. Level 18 stacked the No Looking Back Evolution with a Rewind 89+ pick from Seasons 1 to 7, which suited anyone who missed a particular FUT Birthday or TOTY chase. Level 27's Ultimate TOTS pick offered three TOTS cards, so even an average pick was a 92 to 94 OVR card. Level 28's Finesse Shot+ Evolution fitted any striker with 11 to 13 chemistry, the stack the Season 7 Evolutions ladder relied on. The 90+ x4 pack at level 29 typically returned one or two tradables above 100k.
Premium Pass versus Free Pass
The Free Pass ran alongside it but ended with a non-customisable card and skipped the Sophia Wilson slot, the Ultimate TOTS pick, both Path to Glory player picks and three of the four Evolutions. It still paid out Nations packs and a single 87+ pack, enough for casual squads. Only the Premium upgrade reached the level 27 to 30 stack. For choosing where the four Premium Evolutions went, the essential PlayStyles guide maps which PlayStyle+ combinations suit each role.

Final word
The FC 26 Season 8 Premium Pass is the strongest paid track EA has shipped this year, but only if you treat it like a sprint. Hit level 30 inside two weeks and the 500k coins comes back through packs alone, with Sophia Wilson and the Ultimate TOTS pick as profit on top. Drag the grind out and the value bleeds out with every week the meta shifts toward FUTTIES.
If you're set on clearing the track before FUTTIES rotates the cards, head over to FUTCOIN to grab FC 26 coins and start the climb without burning your trading reserve.
